either a job or joy of being.....?

So often, I meet people who can't reconsile what their 'soul' wants, with the jobs and roles they play in every day live.

If the souls happens to want ' freedom'..... to experience expressing yourself to your highest (moral) values, not only in words but also in matching actions... for instance, so many people think that it is difficult to combine that with being a parent or partner and impossible with being a worker (or working in a 'normal' job):
  • because you are in a certain unequal position of dependancy,
  • that comes with certain 'have to's'
  • for your life sustenance (often among adults simplified to 'money')
So, they figure something along the lines of... "Unless I have/win/inherit a lot of money, that buys me this freedom to be independant of every such job/role, I'd better limit and restrict the desires of my soul, than jeopardising my sense of safety and security.....

Granted, with this strategy you may not physically 'die' any day soon, but emotionally you are rapidly decreasing feeling alive and you are losing track at high speed of seeing enough (appealing) possibilites to sustain your aliveness.

Back to the drawing board, using the palette of choice........

How could it be possible to apply both.... and... - thinking here?
Expanding your sense of freedom and aliveness within the context of fullfilling certain roles in your community that are under the influence of limiting regulations?

Well..... it could be possible by redifining your job(s).
A suggestion for that is found on this website.
